ArtWrite explores the creative process through a blend of personal narrative and interviews with emerging and career artists. Since its inception in 2020, the platform has built an international following of artists, writers, and art enthusiasts.  In 2025, ArtWrite began hosting live conversations between thematically paired artists and writers. These events currently take place in Litchfield County.

After receiving her BA in English and Art History from Barnard College and an MFA in Fiction from the University of Arizona, Maggie built a 25-year career teaching English at New York City independent schools. Beyond her writing and teaching, Maggie has curated art exhibitions, designed curriculum for the Art Institute of Chicago, and manages the estate of artist Thor Rinden.
